A story-driven concept album

“Destined to Shine“ is a compelling concept album that takes listeners on an emotional ride from the depths of struggle to the heights of empowerment, intertwining the raw honesty of confronting our past with the uplifting celebration of newfound self-love.

Blurring the lines of musical styles, it's an immersive experience designed to resonate with all who have faced inner demons, navigated complex relationships, and emerged stronger and more self-aware.

A Composition of Blended Musical Styles

From the haunting introspection of "Death of Destiny" to the anthemic triumph of "Shine," this album blends reflective spoken word pieces, heartfelt folk ballads, and powerful rock anthems.

Each track is a chapter in a story that explores the highs and lows of relationships, the power of choice, and the beauty of personal growth.

About Me / FAQ

Everything you didn't know you wanted to know

How long have you been writing?

In December 2021 I began writing lyrics for the first time. I wrote a little bit of music in 2009, but not words. In the intervening 12 years, I did no music. So this has been an amazing reawakening for me.

How do you record and produce?

I use Logic Pro X for production. I record my vocals with an Aston Origin, guitar with a Fender Stratocaster, and keys with a Yamaha YPG-235. I use Splice and built-in Logic plugins for everything else.

Where do you want to take this?

I'd love to grow this beyond my weekend passion project and begin collaborating. Right now, I want people to hear what I have to say. My hope is that others can be inspired to take control of their lives, and to recognize we have the power to drive change for ourselves - if we are brave enough.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Toronto doing some open mics. I also travel nomadically, having spent a month in Colombia this year. I'm likely to return to South America for the fall.

What inspired your reconnection with music?

My divorce. As I began to connect with my inner self, writing became a natural part of my psyche. I've lived my life in the shadows, afraid of pain. My journey is to take charge of my life and my desires, and music is fundamental in this. To understand more, start by listening to Death of Destiny.
